I had some extra time and energy today and woke up with this one goal in mind – to craft the perfect DIY teepee for photo shoots in my backyard.
Hannah and I headed out to our storage unit this morning where I knew we had the perfect lumbar for this project. We then headed to Home Depot where we picked up a drop cloth and some rope and to JoAnn’s were we bought some lace trim. This afternoon I put the whole thing together with my staple gun and super glue!
When Ella came home from daycare, I let her explore it and captured a few good shots although I was battling some wicked sun flare due to the hour. I’d love to offer these as a mini session later this month – I’ve ordered string lights and have a bunch of props all pulled together that I think will make a very nice setup for children. Ella is two-years-old and fit in the teepee with plenty of room to spare!
